Description: This Wm Adams and Sons backstamp dates back to its beginning in the 50s, so it was made then or sometime after that. It is the older backstamp. I am unsure of the exact age of the item. This is in Good Condition with No Chips or cracks, and a little Crazing, and a few dots as shown in the "close up" photographs. Very Nice Vintage Wm Adams & Sons Ironstone Platter. Even if put on display, the dots and crazing isn't noticeable unless you look closely. The crazing is worse in the back of the platter and light in the front. Very minor use scratches on the face of the platter. Please see photographs for a clear and thorough visualization. This is the Minuet pattern in black featuring a woman next to a river. There are buildings, trees and mountains in the background. This has the Wm Adams & Sons mark that dates it from 1950, it's had some wear but still in good condition. 11 1/2 inches x 8 3/4 inches, weighs 1 pound 8 ounces
