Description: Vintage Sturmey Archer 3 Speed AW Bike Hub - "Your Spoke Hole & Year Choice from the Menu" Used Vintage Sturmey Archer AW Hub with 3 Speeds, Commonly used on 3 Speed Touring Bikes. Your Choice of one hub from the Menu, Choose Spoke Hole, Year, and Axle length. Add Items to your cart and check out through the Cart for Discounts. Hub is used, shows wear, can use some cleaning, most likely needs lubricating, and cone adjustment. Complete Hubs with axle nuts appear to be in working condition. Hubs with Out Axle Nuts are NOT Working or Need Work "NW" Use for Parts or Repair. The 36 and 28 Hole AW hub came off Vintage Schwinn 3 Speed Bikes. The 40 Hole AW Hub came off 3 Speed Raleigh and Raleigh made Bikes Like: Rudge, Humber, Robin Hood, Phillips, Hercules, Triumph, and BSA. The AW Hub came with either a Short 5 3/4" aka 146mm or long 6 1/4" aka 156mm axle, The Default is Short Axle, if it's a long axle your selection will say it. Both AW Hubs are the same, the difference is the extra length on the left side, all hubs have approximately the same 110mm to 114mm spacing, different spacing is achieved with washers / spacers. All Hubs are in AS IS Condition as removed, I don't work these hubs, but also don't see them not working very often.
