Description: Vintage RNB Republic Bank/RNB Republic National Bank of Miami Bankmailer Folders Description Up for sale is a lot of unused and obsolete bankmailer folders for RNB Republic Bank and RNB Republic National Bank of Miami. These folders were kept in a drawer for the past few decades and belonged to a family member who is no longer with us; so for all intents and purposes this listing is part of an ongoing online estate sale of sorts. This lot consists of four gray RNB Republic National Bank of Miami Two-Way Bankmailer Folders from what I believe to be 1981 while the other white RNB Republic Bank two-way bankmailer folder is probably from 1988. The reasoning behind this assumption is that on the grey folders there is what appears to be a date written as 10/81 (on the lower left hand side on the front where the logo is written on the envelope)... suggesting that they're from October of 1981 while the white folder has a revision number written on the back of the envelope where the instructions are listed that reads Rev. 6/88; suggesting that it's from June of 1988. The four gray RNB Republic National Bank of Miami Two-Way Bankmailer Folders measure approximately 8 & 5/8" wide by 3 & 3/4" tall. The white RNB Republic Bank folder measures 8 & 9/16" wide by 3 & 13/16" tall. The measurements for the height of these folders are measured from the highest points (which are usually the slightly proud flaps along the top (and not from the dips in the middle) to the bottom edge of these mailers. All of the these bankmailer folders kind of resemble envelopes, but they have an opening slip along the top and the right (from the front facing bank logo) side. All of these folders/envelopes exhibit some wear on them; brought on by overall age and general storage. Noticeable blemishes on these mailers appear mainly in the form of yellowing and/or spotting on the surface of the envelope. These mailers are definitely vintage and basically obsolete now since I believe RNB bank dissolved and eventually got rebranded... at least here you can see the change from RNB National Bank of Miami to RNB Republic Bank. I'm not quite sure what they go by nowadays, but they're no longer conducting business by this name, as far as I'm aware. Anyways, I know this is not exactly those kind of items that may hold a unique and general appeal to any random collector out there (especially those that have a hankering for things from the eighties) but they're probably a good pickup to any collectors of vintage bank paraphernalia out there.
