Description: This is a pair of men's Nocona western style boots. The size is 10-C and was custom ordered back in the 1980's and was worn only a few times. The original box is in very good condition and the factory cardboard shaft inserts are intact. These are handmade all leather boots including a leather sole and liner. The boots came with removable orthotic innersoles and they were replaced with Spenco orthotic removable innersoles. The stitching is in the traditional pattern seen on many 'cowboy' boots. Note that this boot is width C, a medium width back in the days and today on the narrow size by comparison. It would also correspond to woman's size 11-12 medium and certainly the style could be unisex. The shaft is 12" high, the toe is Nocona 4 that is medium round, the heel is Nocona 03, 1 1/2" height underslug. As mentioned there is minimal wear as seen on the heel taps that show almost no wear on edges. The sole was painted black so the few times worn have worn off some of the cosmetic looks of the sole. This is a welt construction boot. The original box says the vamp is Black Deer Tanned and the shaft is probably cowhide. Look at all the pictures as this boot has minimal wear on the sole and no wear on the upper. Shines like just out of the box!!
