I believe this piece is a reproduction of a Victorian shade (since the black outlines of rose decoration do not appear to be hand painted -- although applied color MAY BE hand over-painted outlined image). Colors suggest a mid-1970's manufacturing date. Glass globe hangs from 3 hooks. The glass shade has 4 images of roses (one pink, one brown), with a tan-colored waist framed by ivy leaves. This is from the estate of an 1890 historic McKinney Texas home -- the owner collected many period light fixtures for home renovation needs. Please note that I find eBay's shipping calculator to be a bit aggressive the larger and heavier the item. I refund significant overcharges (not infrequently, about 60% - 50% of the amount initially calculated by eBay).
