Description: This cup is in very fine condition for it's age. I looked and looked, and couldn't find any scratching or chips. That being said, there are some apparent small manufacturing defects, such as a small hole in the upper-inside part of the handle, a little bulge on the inside of of the cup on the upper curve just left of the handle. There are some tiny dark dots at the bottom of the cup, one most apparent that can be seen easily in the picture and others that are even smaller, along with a tiny 'bubble' in the finish. There is also a little bit of 'marking' or wear that can be seen on the base, but running your finger around the edge of the bottom rim that actually makes contact with the table, I feel no roughness at all. It seems as though anything 'wrong' with this cup came from the manufacture of it, and not from any kind of misuse or overuse. I am being hyper critical of it's condition for your information and benefit. In my opinion, it's an interesting and quality piece.
