Description: Vintage 1950s 1960s Lace Scallop Sequin and beaded Tulle Skirt Wedding Dress Gown I am clearing out part of my vintage wedding dress collection. Estimated modern This dress was soaked / hand laundered, but will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. This will either be shipped in a large polymailer or folded and shipped in a box. Again, it will absolutely need to be pressed / steamed. It will also likely need to be lint rolled. To save on shipping costs this will be tightly rolled up (usps charges significantly higher rates for packages over certain dimensions) FEATURES: Back button closure. Lined (except for the sleeves). Lace bodice with scalloped beading detail. Full skirt with Basque waist. COLOR: white with a slight off white undertone WOUNDS FROM TIME: The main issue of this dress is the under layer of tulle. It needs to either be removed (cut out) or replaced. It is like a cheesecloth style mesh tulle that is absolutely riddled with holes. The top layer of tulle ? I could not find any issue with. There is also a fabric lining under that underlayer - so you really could either just remove it or replace it if you didn’t mind the additional work. The buttons also need to be replaced and there are some areas of fabric next to the buttons that are a bit creamier / have slight discoloration likely due to the buttons discoloration rubbing off on them. I didn’t notice any issues with the lace of the bodice. There is a seam issue where the neckline meets the shoulder seam. Where there’s an inch or so that needs to be stitched back There’s no tearing or discoloration of the underarms . The skirt is so voluminous it is possible I missed a small snag or pull in the top layer of tulle, but there truly isn’t anything noticeable. The beading appears to be in good shape, but there are a couple of issues where the braided trim along the neckline is starting to come off the neckline (in the back). See all photos and video and please note that this is vintage so some signs of wear and age are normal and to be expected MATERIAL: unknown Measurements taken flat and APPROXIMATE Shoulder to shoulder- 14.5” Hips- not taken due to full nature of skirt top of bodice to bottom of top of sides of basque waist- 15” Waist at top of sides of waist seam- 13” Chest front (underarm to underarm with bust darts taken into account)-20” with a little bit of wiggle room due to pleated nature of bust darts Chest back (underarm to underarm)-15" Top of bodice to front of hem- 55" Sleeve length - 24” to end of point, 22” to shortest part of sleeve I am 5’2” and was 110 pounds at the time I filmed the video.
