Vintage 1940s Chinoiserie Oriental Dragon Phoenix Myth Jewelry Box Dresser Set

Description: Vintage 1940s Chinoiserie Oriental Mythology Themed Dresser Set Boxes. Rich, Beautiful, and Dramatic display. Three drawer box features raised-relief pastoral scenes on the top and sides, with a double headed dragon pulls. Lidded box features a Phoenix handle and raised-relief dragons. Rich red and white marbled finishBlack bases with scrollwork design. All plastic - likely either Celluloid or Bakelite. Manufactured by Alden Plastic Dimensions: Chest is approximately 7.25" wide, 5.5" high, and 4.5" deep not counting handles. Lidded Box is approximately 8" wide at the widest, 4.5" tall, and 4" deep. Condition: Used vintage condition. Great display. The minor imperfections aren't readily apparent as they blend into the design or are on the interior. These include scuffs and white spots on removable lid (last photo). Three drawer-chest has several chips on the sides of the drawers - these are visible only if drawers are pulled all the way out or removed (Photos 13-15). Three drawer-chest has a couple scuffs under the drawer lip - not visible unless drawer is opened (Photo 16). The center drawer sticks but does open - it's easier to open by holding the sides of the drawer and pulling, instead of using the delicate handle. There appears to be a bit of dirt here and there in the scrollwork and design which requires a more detailed cleaning.
