It looks nice in the box. I bought the stainless steel because the zinc was out of stock and I didnt want to wait. Its exactly as the picture shows. Its pretty. That said, "universal" does not mean "easy" or "quick" mounting. Theres going to have to be a lot of new modifications to the trunk area to get these to align and work properly. Theres no consideration that the mounting locations wont be flat and parallel on both the car and especially the trunk lid. If I were building this product, Id add a self-aligning pillow block bearing for the bracket that bolts to the trunk lid. Its a good product, but it just creates one more "to do" for the project. Yes, I recommend this product. I would buy this product again. Rated by Phil on April 11, 2021 Summary: It would be helpful if it was mentioned that the pivot point of the hinges needs to be at least level with the top edge of the trunk lid. Perferably above it or the trunk wont open. No instructions came with them. A fair bit of geometry was involved. Made them work finally.
