Description: National Cash Register in the 1960's Reproduced the bible on a tiny 2" card....( as seen in the photos) First presented at the 1964 New York World's Fair. This tiny bible could be read under magnification. Google "lunar bible" and read the interesting story of bibles on Apollo 14. You might see my other listing for this similar item. This particular listing includes an original National Cash Register company display card made for the Microform Bible describing the process and the outcome of the microform process. I believe 500 were made to go up in orbit. This is not one of them. But is from the 1960's..and is not signed by an astronaut. Just a great collectors item! The Microform Bible the total 66 books of the Holy Bible. All 774,746 words. Printed at a ratio of 62,500 to 1. In 1977 MicroJewel created the presentation booklet to go with the microform bible to explain the significance of the creation. This is one of the microform printed bibles displayed in the microjewel presentation booklet.
