It takes readily to containers and grows densely in an upright wine glass shape. It is a three season tree and sports very bright contorted leaves of pale green edged with a well defined band of cream. At times it may display a rose tint on the cream. The leaves are amply supplied on the twiggy stems. It does look like it is covered with hoards of butterflies. It enjoys good sun and is not finicky. A lovely reliable clone to about 8' in ten years.
