Description: Korean war military field chest with tableware. Service for 8 - cups, bowls, plates, knives, spoons, forks, soup spoons. Along with large serving platter, 2 serving bowls, coffee pot and small pot (not sure what it was for) 2 sets salt & pepper shakers, pan lifter and can opener (P-38). Many plates are dated in the 50's and marked US. The plates all show many cut and use marks from the troops eating their meals. The other items show usage and could probably be buffed out, but I didn't want to erase the history of these items. The top of the chest has writing US 7360-00-243-6329 CHEST, FIELD TABLEWARE OUTFIT DLA 400-85-?-0221 AUTO SKATE CO UNION N J Chest is in very worn condition on outside.
