Description: This piece overall measures 8.13 inches long. It is a Japanese knife with both a wooden handle and matching scabbard. The flange of the blade is connected to the handle with what looks like a bronze pin. The blade which measures 3.25 inches long is sharp and made of stainless steel. It is in very good condition and its age is from the 1940's to 1950's. The blade is embossed with the writing that reads "Takahashi Japan." There is a faux hamon running along the blade on both sides (see photo). The overall condition of this knife is very good. It has been kept in safe storage these many years.
