Description: CONDITION: Excellent, first quality, without defects of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1774. It has the crossed swords mark with star under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 1 7/8 inches high with a diameter of 3 inches. The porcelain has a molded rib pattern giving it interesting texture. It is hand painted with a Kakiemon flowering tree design. There is a delicate border of vines on the rims and a tiny blossom at the bottom of the cup. Note the graceful, hand applied handle. #E422 Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay.
