Description: 1950s GE Transistor Radio This radio was one of GE's earliest entries into the transistor market. It uses all PNP germanium transistors. Power is from an old type of 9V battery that apparently isn't made any more - the snap buttons are larger than the ones for a modern 9V battery and are 3/4" apart. The radio works with the proper 9V applied, although the volume isn't very loud. It has a plastic/metal carry handle and a headphone jack. Item will ship USPS Ground Advantage to US buyers. International buyers are welcome. Item will ship via Ebay International, cost based on destination. Any import duties or fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
