Description: https://youtu.be/H5cyIjhDD5w https://youtu.be/H5cyIjhDD5w Cool refinshed squier Classic vibe Jaguar from 2023 I believe. * The guitar will continue to get played until it sells. I purchased this with the plan to grab my first jag and refinish as I didnt like the surf green color. I lightly sanded the orig finish, and sprayed about 5 coatas of a dark navy blue, then about 4 coats or spray on shellac. The result is a beautiful looking, but not completely smooth finish. If you're looking for a professional finish, look elsewhere. I also did some additional relic'ing of the chrome hardware, with a technique I've found can add a nice nickel and copper patina'd finish to dim the harsh and cheap looking chrome that comes stock on these. Finally I added some better tuners. I am only selling because I love the Jag so much I finally spent up on a MIJ Jag, thus I'd to recoup some funds and get some value for the time spent customizing this one. The guitar plays great and sounds like a Jag. I adjusted the bridge height a smdge and it corrected the small dead spot on the g string in the vid I took. I have had very little if any tuning issues with the bridge. I did put gaffer tape on the bridge poles to minimize movement as I saw it on a video. It seems to work great. There are a few blems especilally on the heel from the guitar stand (see pics), and a couple of flecks in the front finish. As I said, the paint job is not pro, but works well on this level of instrument I would say. I would not have torn down a $1000+ guitar for this type of project. I have done a few of these and do my best to get a nice coat. What's more important to me is the color, and the vibe. I'mhoping someone will like and appreciate it. Comes with a nice padded gigbag. I took a video of me going through the guitar a bit and will post here.
