Description: This Custom Bullet mic began life as a Realistic Desktop Microphone which was loosely designed after the Turner Desktop Microphones. They were manufactured in Japan during the 60s and 70s. The bullet head has been chopped from the desktop stand and the ribs have been removed from the shell to make it more comfortable in your hands. The shell has been powder coated in Candy Green with Gold Flake! A volume control has been added at the back of the shell and a 1/4" jack has been installed at the bottom of the shell near the back to keep it out of the way for easy cupping. There is a small crack in the shell which occurred when the 1/4" jack was tightened in place. It does not effect the playability of the microphone and should not get any worse through normal use. The grille ring is on fair condition but does have a few blemishes. The grille is from a Turner +2 microphone with the original black paint in good condition and it has been backed with a gold silk. At the heart of the microphone is a Vintage Dynamic element from a CB microphone which has been paired with a transformer to boost the impedance to 50 K-Ohms for a Super Hot Output. The element is about the same diameter as a Shure Controlled Magnetic element and has a nice large diaphragm which provides Excellent Breakup and a Nice Thick Tone! Take Advantage of this great deal on a One-Of-A-Kind Harp Mic! Thanks for looking!
