B&W Bowers & Wilkins 805 Matrix Speakers w/consecutive serial numbers

Description: B&W Bowers & Wilkins 805 Matrix Speakers w/consecutive serial numbers From our favorite era of B&W, we have a pair of black 805 Matrix speakers with consecutive serial numbers, in perfect working order. Whenever these come through our shop, they always end up staying hooked up in one of our systems for at least a few weeks. We took these in, with a center channel, and a pair of 803's, which we still have hooked up. While the following generations of B&W speakers are great as well, we just find these to sound so natural and non fatiguing, and can listen to them all day. While the speakers are in perfect working order, and the drivers and tweeters are in very good condition, there are some marks and blemishes as follows: - Both tweeters, while in perfect working order, had the front tabs that clip the front of the tweeter into its bracket break off. (a common issue with these vintage tweeters). We use a small piece of Blue Tack to hold them in place. We will include some Blue Tack with the speakers. The tweeters will be removed for shipping as seen in the pictures. -One speaker has a rash on the top left corner of the grill, and a small tear in the grill cloth. Also, on the same grill, there is a run in the fabric on the bottom right side. - There are blemishes here and there on both cabinets, but no dents or deep scratches. The bottoms have some scratches that can be seen in the pictures. - The grills have some light stains For further detail, see the many pictures in the listing. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the units, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
