I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition, with an attached spine, a great hardcover (photo#11) and very good inside pages (photo#12 examples). It does have some signs of wear, including 1 outer corner ding that shows as a light page indent, but a majority of the flaws are lighter and affect its externals. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing/indent on spine edge, indent shows lightly on hardcover below. Small ding where it meets front cover, shows as a light ~1/2" indent around corner on front, and lightly on the hardcover below. Smaller but more moderate ding where it meets back cover, shows on hardcover below.-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing/indent on spine edge, indent shows lightly on hardcover below. **Photo#5: -Front cover top edge: Light scuffing/curling from its middle to the spine corner. ~2" indent around spine corner. ~2" horizontal indent near edge towards outer corner (both in photo#9 w/illumination).-Outer corner: Small ding/scuff, shows on hardcover below as a bend, thru ~40 pages as a tiny indent, and thru ~1/5" pages as a small bend. **Photo#6:-Front cover bottom edge: ~1/2" vertical indent towards the spine corner, small scuff near edge's middle, ~1" scuff around outer corner.-Outer corner: Small but strong indent/ding/scuff, shows on hardcover below. Also shows on pages - thru ~30 as a tiny indent, thru ~1/2 as a light ~1/2" indent, and thru all as a light bend. **Photo#7: -Back cover top edge: Some light curling/scuffing/nearby jacket indenting along most of edge (photo#10 w/illumination).-Outer corner: Small ding/indent/scuff, shows on hardcover below as a light indent, and thru ~12 pages as a tiny indent. **Photo#8:-Back cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing if any.-Outer corner: ~1/2" ding/indent/scuff from front covers' ding. **Additionally: Front jacket possesses a small indent/depression near the spine edge's middle. Back jacket has two larger ~7" vertical scratches near its center (photo#10 w/illumination), with some lighter scratches around them, spanning much of the jacket. ~1" horizontal indent/depression near cover's upper half. Spine adhesive binding to the first page section has begun to loosen, but is still attached. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
