Description: I have for sale a fantastic antique country store pie display case. The case still has the original finish and "H. Kerns Pies" painted lettering. Inside the pie rack is made out of wood. Overall it is in very good original condition. There is one small spot on the corner where the wood is flaking up some. You can see an example of this in the (22nd) photo above. Also, the side that has the painted lettering, at the bottom trim, has the top layer of wood slightly shaved off. It starts around the "I" in "Pies" and goes past the "S" to the corner. Both of these are very minor, and I have provided below nearly (150) detailed photos of all this and more. I couldn't track down who H. Kerns was, with the only Kerns being the family from Kentucky, but this piece would predate the still popular Kerns pies in Kentucky. My best guess is, it is probably from Pennsylvania, in the Lancaster / Harrisburg area. This primitive pie case displays extremely well. I Size: 21 1/4" (Height) 19" (Length) 9 1/2" (Width) Weight: 15lbs Approx. If you have any questions, and/or need more photos, please send me a message. Thank You
