Description: Antique American 14K Gold Opal Seed Pearl Ring Circa 1920's 8.30cts. A fabulous antique American made 14K yellow and rose gold ring (stamped and tested) from the Art Deco period, 1920's. It also has a patent date of 2/15/19 (February 15, 1919). The large crystal opal measures 15.2mm, by 12mm with an estimated weight of 8.3cts. and has both harlequin and pinfire, with excellent, even, play of color. The body color is translucent light blue/grey. The opal is surrounded by seed pearls strung on wire. Note: the decorative flower, in rose gold, is on one side only.
