Description: Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 19th century finely bound leather photo album.The front and rear cover are wrapped in high quality gold gilded leather and done with dimensional design.It has a very detailed landscape scene painted by hand on an oval panel mounted to the front cover.Both covers are embellished with milk glass appliqués that double as feet when set on a flat surface.It features ornate dual bronze hinged clasps that are also fastened with milk glass.It measures 6 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches thick.The leather cover has scratches and edge-ware throughout, there is damage to some of the page surfaces as shown in last photo.
