These assassin snails consume foods such as frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, fish food flakes or pellets, fish secretions, dead organisms, or even prey that are not fast enough to escape. If you plan on leaving these foods in your tank, multiple water changes are required throughout the week to maintain the water parameter specifications and needs for your pets.
