1996 Tiara 4000 express cruiser (fire damaged)

Description: Fire damaged vessel. Twin 3208TA silver anniversary edition 435hp (1610 hours) both engines run. Genset is 9kw Onan with 680 hours.Damage occurred in the engine room and vessel needs some rewiring in that area. Diesel and tanks did not burn. Inverter and house systems are working. Boat has new Garmin electronics package including radar. See photos to understand the extent of damage. This vessel is definitely repairable and was maintained in great shape before the fire. Just the motors alone are worth more than my asking price. Open to offers. Vessel can be put in the water and moved on its own hull. Boat starts and runs and drives. Can't get proper insurance on it without a series of surveyor reports. Buyer will be provided a Coast Guard Bill of Sale, More on the damage and repairs. The entire starboard aft wiring harness was burned this is the majority of the damage. This harness includes the autopilot pump, the hydraulic switches for engine hatch, cockpit tables, and the garage. There are also 120v electrical for the icemaker, shore power cables, aft and mid bilge pumps, diesel tank selector switches. I have rerun the bilge pump wiring in this area as well as new hydraulic steering lines. On the forward engine room harnesses that traverse to the helm, the split loom harnesses protected the thicker harnesses such as main and engine power while melting smaller harnesses such as the engine and some gauge harnesses. I spliced the engine harnesses using heat shrink butt connectors and protected them with new split loom. They are still disconnected from the forward wall since some wiring in this area still needs to be gone through (transmission pressure gauges for example) The starboard diesel tank suction line was cut and spliced to remove an air leak where the fire had damaged it. The fiberglass that was burned was cut down to good glass and is ready to be reglassed now. The boat is liveable and currently on the hard at Solomons yachting center where inspections are welcome.
