Description: Though its branded Lectrolab, the pickup itself was built by DeArmond. It's a DeArmond "Hershey bar" pickup. Its back is dated 11/8/65. Lectrolab was a Chicago manufacturer best known for amplifiers, often made under the brand name Sound Projects. There's a good web fansite about Lectolab here: https://lectrolab.wordpress.com/lectrolab-company-info/ I believe this was made for an archtop acoustic guitar. The two pins at the end of it are made to fit under the bridge of a typical archtop adjustable bridge. For some reason, a prior owner clipped off the output cord. I alligator clipped leads to it and tested it on a guitar and with an ohmeter. It works and reads out at 7.48k ohms. The volume and tone pots work. The installation screws are included. I suspect they are original. It's a rare piece of gear that just needs some TLC to bring it back to life.
