The front folds down using hand-forged Iron Chains and Hinges of the period to reveal several rows of Drawers and the Desk Top itself! The Beautiful Tiger Oak Wood is Solid and Strong! The Desk is Very Sturdy, Tight and Solid as a Rock! This One of a Kind Museum Piece has been in my private collection for many years and originally came from Belgium.
